Twenty-five years ago, the Company's founder, David Earl, transmitted the first live on-board camera images from a Formula One racing car, during an actual race. In doing so, he transformed the live television coverage of motorsport and other sporting events. Since then, TV2 engineers have worked in over 50 countries, covering a wide range of televised event that involve the transmission of live images from vehicles, boats and aircraft.

These projects involve transmitting EO/IR images from sensor platforms aboard fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, over long distances, to central command centres. Drawing on its unique experience and expertise, TV2 offers a consultancy service to platform manufacturers, system integrators, and end users involved in the live coverage of broadcast and/or security 'events', from acquisition to delivery.
